A must while visiting the island is to rent a car and head out for the open roads of Ibiza, it doesn’t take long from leaving the main resorts for you to experience the true beauty of the island. The island is very easy to navigate with most junctions showing either Ibiza Town, San Antonio or Santa Eulalia – so the chances of getting lost are very slim! But if you do it’s all part of the fun! Nowhere in Ibiza is really more that a 45 minute drive so no long car journeys are required to see the best of what the island has to offer.

Our cars start from smaller 3 door cars, then onto 5 door cars, saloons, convertibles, people carriers and If you wanted to go off the beaten tracks, staying a in a villa or want to explore inland Ibiza by car remember you can also rent a jeep. Some of the recommended sights to explore and make the most of your Ibiza car rental include a drive to the North of the island taking in the villages of Portinatx and San Miguel (where you can visit the fantastic caves). Also in the North you find the popular beauty spot and beach of Benniras, where regular hippy moon parties are help and a memorable scene from Kevin and Perry go large in Ibiza was filmed. Then you have the East coast of ibiza, the village of San Carlos (Las Dalias market on a Saturday) then the more popular resorts of Es Cana (famous Hippy Market on a Wednesday), continue to the islands third largest town of Santa Eulalia (great for a coffee, shopping and a stroll along the promenade) and finally the picturesque, family friendly resort of Cala Llonga.
The South coast is home to Ibiza Town, Playa den Bossa and on towards the natural park of Salinas – definitely worth a few hours exploring with your car (not forgetting a stop off for lunch on the beach! Finally you have the West coast starting off with the mystical rocks of es Vedra (it’s a challenge trying to find the lookout point for Es Vedra but is accessible with your car rental and when you find it its truly amazing – especially at sunset. San Antonio is the final town and the second largest on the island, there are plenty of places to park with large free car parks on both sides of the town. It is a must to drive over to the sunset strip and have a cocktail in Café del Mar or Café Mambo (only one if your driving)
It is strongly advised to reserve your car as far in advance as possible as especially in Ibiza in high season there can be a shortage of cars. Parking can sometimes be a challenge, especially in Ibiza Town but over recent years many large free car parking areas have been developed on the outskirts of towns so parking you car in Ibiza is getting easier - Remember we can provide you with a map or Sat Nav should you require
