Legal Wedding Services in Ibiza
Catholic Ceremony
In Ibiza you can be legally married if at least one of you is Catholic, this ceremony is in a church and can be in either English or Spanish. The application process can be quite lengthy (up to a year) and the church insists on having hands on approach, please feel free to contact us and we can send across details of a local priest. The priest will guide you through all the necessary paperwork.
If you are a resident of Spain you can marry in a town hall or in a Catholic church.
Non Catholic Wedding
The Anglican church offer the ‘Sacrament of Marriage’ (regarded as the full marriage ceremony) this service can be held in an Ibicencan church and the service is conducted in English.
Having a legal marriage certificate before hand in the UK is a requirement and the Anglican church also like to take a hands on approach. Please contact us and we can send on the details of the local vicar.
Non Religious Blessing or Spiritual Ceremony
A non religious blessing or spiritual ceremony is the third option regarding marriage. This takes place with a minister in the grounds of any reception location. This can include a cliff top location, luxury villa or on the beach. We can help organise this option direct with the minister for you and as with a non Catholic wedding having a legal marriage certificate before hand in the UK is a requirement. The minister works closely with you to determine the style, form and content of the blessing ceremony to give you a chance to create a ceremony that is truly memorable.
