Stayed in the 3* Grupotel Oasis for 1 week 1st June 2010. It had a mixture of English, Spanish and German/Dutch staying there. We thought it was adequate for us. We booked a studio room which was quite large and didn't feel a squeeze even with a 3rd bed for our 4 year old boy. What you don't get is a hairdyer or a kettle. We only had a frying pan so we had to use that to make cuppas. We did ask for a pan (our friends had a pan but no frying pan!) but we didn't get one so easier to take a travel kettle. You have to leave a 10 euro deposit for the TV remote and there were only about 2 english speaking channels - 1 euro sport. No childrens channels. The safe charge was 15.50 euros for the week with 5 euros back at the end of your stay - which was much more reasonable than Presidente. Not really any childrens entertainment, but that was OK for us after staying at the Manic Hotel Presidente last year! Food was the usual buffet - hot cold breakfasts and various choice in eves. But thought the Presidente food was better. We did get a bit stalled with it and ate out a coulpe of evenings. We would prefer SC but we booked HB as it was more cost effective because of the exchange rates. The top pool was nice & better for children but it was a little green!!! Hotel has great location - right next to the little beach on the edge of the resort.
