The cultural center and capitol town of the island is a must for any visitor. Ibiza Town can be separated into three main areas:- the old town (Dalt Vila) the new town and the bustling harbor area.
With narrow cobbled streets and winding walkways the old town takes you back in time. Spanish history oozes here and many museums and art galleries lie tucked away waiting to be explored. Dalt Vila is a world heritage site and no trip to Ibiza would be complete without a walk to the peakto enjoy the amazing views across the whole island.
The new town is where the shopping takes place, from designer labels, finding a bargain or a traditional souvenir. Hundreds of tapas bars, plazas and cafes make it the perfect location to stop for a break in the afternoon heat.
The cosmopolitan harbor area is where you can find massive yachts and sail boats, if you get the chance take a trip to Ibiza’s sister island Formentera. Trendy bars and bistro line the quayside and the world famous nightclubs of Pacha and El Divino occupy a prime spot on the harbor.
At night time Ibiza Town comes alive with street parades, carnivals and market stalls. It truly is an amazing place.
