The Don Quijote Hotel is a popular hotel situated opposite the sandy beach and palmed promenade, with a wide selection of bars, restaurants, shops, supermarkets and other facilities nearby. The hotel rooms comprise of n en suite bathroom, balcony, safe and telephone and a stunning feature of the hotel is the extraordinary view from the rooftop terrace, over Formentera, the old-town of Ibiza and the hills and the sea. There is also an inviting swimming pool, a bar-cafeteria for leisurely drinks and a sun terrace, complete with loungers, ideal for sunbathing. In addition, the Don Quijote features a lift, a games room, a TV room and a tempting restaurant. Guests are advised that the Don Quijote is not accessible for those with disabilities.

For the price we paid to stay in the Don Quijote (half board) we weren't expecting too much. And we got what we expected. If you're looking for a base to go out in Ibiza the Don Quijote is perfect; basic accommodation, simple food (evening is better than breakfast), but the lift can be a bit temperamental, and the roof-top pool is more like a splash pool but with the beach so close it doesn't really matter. However the best feature about this hotel is the staff, they are helpful, friendly and can't do enough to help you if you need it.
